Shark Dissection: June 18th, 2:30PM – 3:30PM

Our lead interpreters will guide us through shark dissections in celebration of our Summer Shark

Spree rotating exhibit. During the dissections, visitors will get to learn about shark anatomy and

the common sharks of Puget Sound.

Standard admission costs: $8/family, $5/individuals, $3/youth 18 and under, Free with EBT

Free Admission Day: July 9th, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Admission to the Estuarium will be free all day for you to explore the exhibit and hear from local

shark experts! Stick around after the talk to explore the local specimen on display and interact

with our estuary animal ambassadors! Estuarium lead interpreters will answer all your questions

about our estuary creatures and environments they live in.

Shark Talk: July 17th, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Join us on July 17th to explore the Shark Spree exhibit and hear from a local shark expert! Stick

around after the talk to explore the local specimen on display and interact with our estuary

animal ambassadors. Estuarium lead interpreters will answer all your questions about our estuary

creatures and environments they live in.

  • July 17th, 11:30 – 12:30 PM: Shark Talk by Lisa Hillier, a Biologist at the WA Department of Fish & Wildlife. Join us for Lisa’s talk on local shark species and shark research happening in Washington State.
