Voces del Alma / Voices of the Soul First International Spanish Poetry Festival

Lynnwood, WA – The WAGRO Foundation proudly announces the First International Spanish Poetry Festival: Voces del Alma (Voices of the Soul), a dynamic celebration of Latin American literature, music, and art to be held on Wednesday, May 31st, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Lynnwood Library. This free, all-ages event will spotlight the voices of Spanish-speaking poets and artists from across the Americas.

At the heart of the festival is the highly anticipated launch of the new anthology:

Se escribe en español: Una antología poética del Puget Sound (Written in Spanish: A Poetic Anthology of the Puget Sound). The anthologyIt is the result of a year-long poetry workshop that brings together poems written in Spanish by a diverse group of migrants and refugees who have used poetic expression to work toward emotional wellness.
