U2 es una Popular banda de rock irlandesa. En 1976 en Mullen, un baterista publica un anuncio clasificado para formar una banda a la que responden Bono (Paul Hewson), The Edge (Dave Evans) y Adam Clayton.
Dos años más tarde Hewson cambia de nombre por el de Bono que en latín quiere decir “buena Voz” y se les une Paul McGuinness, juntos formaron la agrupación “The Hype”. Al poco tiempo firman un contrato con Island Record con el nombre de U2.
Desde entonces la agrupación Irlandesa a conquistado al mundo con su música y originales canciones de amor y desamor.
U2 se a destacado por su interés político y por su participación en las causas sociales como el hambre, el sida y la paz mundial.
La gran banda irlandesa se presentara en el Qwest Field el próximo sábado 4 de junio además estará Lenny Kravitz
